Last night, our 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams took on Grant! The Scarlet team came away with a win, sweeping all three sets! Scarlet won the first set 25–10, the second set 25–15, and the third set 15–7 to take the match in straight sets. Great job, Scarlet!

Charleigh Ellison contributed 12 assists and 4 aces, and Hailey Kline served up 6 aces and added an assist. Bristol Larson recorded 2 kills, 2 digs, and 2 assists, while Ryann Kruithoff added 1 kill, 2 digs, and 4 aces. Ryelle Wert also contributed a kill.

The White team battled hard against Grant but fell in three sets, with scores of 22–25, 14–25, and 10–15. The girls are back in action next week for their final week of volleyball. On Tuesday, they will travel to Chippewa Hills. On Thursday, they will play their final game at home against Newaygo. Come cheer on the girls at their final game next Thursday!

The KCMS eSports team did not fare well last night in their fourth week of competition, but did field 3 full teams for the first time. Everyone played well, but ended up losing each match. Last week's competition was a better showing as Carson Norkus, Gavin Hill, and Brody VanOeffelen won all of their matches to defeat Spring Lake Middle School #5. Brayden Lenkeek and Liam Quigley also won their matches, but the team fell to Spring Lake Middle School #1 3-2.
